Subhub is QED Naval’s flagship project. The Subhub is a foundation structure for wave and tidal turbines with benefits! It commissions, tests, transports, installs, and secures a mini array of wave and tidal turbines to the seabed using it unique features and methods (patent – GB 2489810).

QED Naval completed all the feasibility assessments of the Subhub tidal turbine platform using its suite of design tools. We have also recently completed a successful tank testing program on the validation model using 30cm diameter perforated disc to act in the similar manner to a turbine.
